Everyone who was in high school when “Mean Girls” debuted in 2004 has (hopefully) long since graduated, but there’s no denying that Tina Fey’s hit teen comedy, which turned 10 last year, has managed to stay fetch way beyond its years.
Aside from teaching us how to (or, really, how not to) navigate the jungle that is high school and giving us a lifetime of quotes to insert into almost any social situation, “Mean Girls” also offered us fashion advice– some valuable and some, not so much. To celebrate October 3rd (aka “Mean Girls” Day), let’s take a look at what’s grool enough to survive a decade, and what deserves a spot in the Burn Book.
