P.S. 41 auditorium to get makeover

Thanks to help from Councilmember Christine Quinn, the City Council has allocated $250,000 for the renovation of P.S. 41’s auditorium. According to P.S. 41 P.T.A. President Jill Tapia, the money will be used to renovate the school’s auditorium, with improved lighting, sound system, a new curtain and air conditioning, the latter which the school has never had. The hope is the changes will make the space a more appealing venue for renting out for events.
