Manhattan detectives are on the hunt for the suspect who tried to rape a woman inside a business on Monday evening.
The NYPD released images Wednesday morning of the perpetrator sought for the attack inside what police described as a commercial establishment near the corner of West 36th Street and Broadway in Manhattan at 6 p.m. on Sept. 1.
Law enforcement sources said the creep confronted the victim, a 34-year-old woman, and sexually assaulted her. The victim did not know her attacker. Police sources could not specify whether the victim worked at the location or was a customer.

Following the attack, authorities said, the perpetrator fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The incident was reported to the Midtown South Precinct. EMS rushed the victim to a local hospital; she was listed in stable condition.
Video footage that police provided shows the assailant walking through the area on the day of the attack. He appears to have a dark complexion and a bald head, and was last seen wearing a gray camouflage t-shirt, tan shorts and black-and-white sneakers.
