MTA weekend service changes: What to know before riding the subway

Here’s a look at the MTA service changes from Friday night to Monday morning.

No. 1 trains

Downtown trains in Manhattan will skip 137th, 125th, 116th, 110th and 103rd streets.

No. 2 trains

Service between 241st Street and Gun Hill Road in the Bronx will be replaced by free shuttle buses (3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday).

No. 3 trains

Normal weekend service.

No. 4 trains

Normal weekend service.

No. 5 trains

Normal weekend service.

No. 6 trains

Pelham Bay Park-bound trains in the Bronx will skip Brook Avenue, Cypress Avenue, East 143rd Street, East 149th Street and Longwood Avenue.

Service between Third Avenue-138th Street in the Bronx and 125th Street in Manhattan will be replaced by free shuttle buses.

No. 7 trains

Normal weekend service.

A trains

Trains in Manhattan will stop at Spring, 23rd and 50th streets.

Trains will run every 10 minutes (Saturday).

C trains

Trains will run about every 12 minutes.

E trains

Trains in Queens will stop at 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46th Street, Northern Boulevard, 65th Street, Roosevelt Avenue, Elmhurst Avenue, Grand Avenue, Woodhaven Boulevard, 63rd Drive and 67th Avenue.

B trains

The B does not run on weekends.

D trains

Coney Island-bound trains in Brooklyn will run along the N line from 36th Street to Stillwell Avenue.

Norwood-bound trains in Brooklyn will skip 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street and Union Street (nights).

Trains will run about every 12 minutes (days and evenings).

F trains

Trains in Queens will stop at 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46th Street, Northern Boulevard, 65th Street, Roosevelt Avenue, Elmhurst Avenue, Grand Avenue, Woodhaven Boulevard, 63rd Drive and 67th Avenue.

M trains

Trains will run between Metropolitan Avenue in Brooklyn and 47th-50th Streets in Manhattan, along the F line between 47th-50th Streets and Lexington Avenue/63rd Street and along the Q line between Lexington Avenue/63rd Streets and 96th Street in Manhattan (10 p.m. Friday to 1:30 a.m. Saturday; 6 a.m. Saturday to 1:30 a.m. Sunday; and 6 a.m. Sunday to 1:30 a.m. Monday).

L trains

Service between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street in Brooklyn will be replaced by free shuttle buses.

G trains

Normal weekend service.

J trains

Normal weekend service.

N trains

Trains will run along the R line between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Canal Street in Manhattan.

Service between Times Square-42nd Street in Manhattan and Ditmars Boulevard in Queens will be replaced by 4, 5, 6, 7, and Q trains and free shuttle buses.

Manhattan-bound trains in Brooklyn will run along the D line from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street.

Coney Island-bound trains in Brooklyn will stop at 45th and 53rd streets.

Manhattan-bound trains in Brooklyn will skip 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street and Union Street (nights).

Trains will run about every 12 minutes (days and evenings).

Q trains

Trains in Manhattan will stop at Prince, Eighth, 23rd, 28th and 49th streets.

R trains

Trains will be rerouted along the D line between DeKalb Avenue and 47th-50th Streets, and along the E line between Fifth Avenue/53rd Street and Queens Plaza.

Manhattan-bound trains in Brooklyn will skip 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street and Union Street.

W trains

The W does not run on weekends.

Z trains

The Z does not run on weekends.
